Recently I made a trip to Gohtong Jaya for some santai time, ended up in Genting Premium Outlet. Basically, I was the driver and took some people up. Prices at the GPO has gone up substantially as compared to the days during C19. I remember Nike giving discounts upon discounts, Under Amour had amazing discounts, etc. All that is gone now, just straight forward discounts!!!
But the actual exciting part was lunch at Gohtong Jaya, a restaurant called Restoran Kakak Peng. This restaurant is located 2 shops away from 7-Eleven and next to the famous Ratha Raub Curry place
The restaurant is known for its Beehoon noodles, you can choose to add fish slice, Lala or prawns. The dish comes with some broth and is quite delicious

Besides the Beehoon, we also ordered the "ham yui far lam po" or salted fish pork belly claypot, a veg and tofu dish. While the claypot was delicious, there was very little salted fish added to the dish. Tofu was soft and the vegetables was good.
Overall, it was a good lunch and not too expensive, about RM120 for 4 persons. A worthwhile visit to this restaurant
