Warung Abe Joe - Meal after KDCF

 In continuation of my earlier post on KDCF, this is where we had a hearty lunch after all the workout. This is a road side stall located less than 5 mins from the KDCF Trail. The famous dish to order is the Nasi ala Kak Wok and Ayam Perchik with Nasi Kerabu

 

This stall is located opposite McDonalds in Kota Damansara. You can't miss it. The ambience is nothing much to shout about, just a few tables inside the stall and along the walkway. 

For lunch we  ordered the Nasi Kerabu with Ayam Perchik and Nasi Ala Kak Wok

The Nasi Kak Wok (left) comes with fried chicken pieces, sambal and some cucumber. The sambal was good and nit too spicy but I found the fried chicken a bit too dry. The curry sauce was acceptable and not too over powering in taste
The portion is reasonable

In contrast, the Nasi Kerabu Ayam Perchik (above) comes in big portion and you get almost a quarter chicken. The rice is very flavourful, topped with raw vegetables and sambal. The chicken was juicy and the sauce was rich in flavor...I should have asked for more sauce!!!

I had Iced Teh Halia and the ginger was quite strong in the tea.

It was a satisfying lunch after all the hiking in KDCF....I should have have gone for a second round of hiking after lunch!!!!

And yes, I will come again for my Nasi Kerabu Ayam Perchik 😁😁😁😁😁
