It was a cool morning and decided to take a short hike at SACF or known as Shah Alam Community Forest. Been a while since I came and it was a good refreshing hike

After covering two thirds of the trail we came across a junction and someone aptly named it Bateri Rosak junction (or spoiled battery) I guessed at some point either some du=irt bikes or 4 X 4 vehicles always get the batteries spoiled !!! 😁😁😁
The last stretch is called Rock Gardens, basically the path is just very rocky and just have to be careful as it can be quite slippery during rainy days.
I decided to take a slightly longer trail and did the Budiman - Peak Garden - The Wall - MOU - Kurma -Rock Garden and back to Budiman, total 7.4 km
Not sure how all these names came about but it's interesting to know
The initial hike from Budiman to Peak Garden is uphill most of the way and after that it's a breeze to hike downhill till the last stretch where you have to hike up again
On the way to Peak Garden you will come across this nice enchanting path. Many hikers stop here for an Instagram shoot.... and to take a short break as well.
Time taken to get to Peak Garden is about 45 mins on a slow easy walk with rest in between
SACF is a very good place to hike for beginners as the paths are quite wide and you can't get lost
After a short break at Peak Garden we continued our hike towards the Wall and MOU trail. This is an easy hike as you start to descend along some of the way and most of the trail is quite flat. Unfortunately, the MOU trail will be gone soon as the developer has started to erect the boundary fence for development
The start of MOU trail with visible fence poles being erected by the land owners. Further down the trail you will noticed that the path is cleared to allow heavy vehicles to enter the site (below)

All in all a good 3 hours spent including all the rest stops, photography, and whatnots sighting along the way.
