When I was working in Singapore, I would visit Hawker Chan's outlet once a while, including his original stall in Chinatown. Though he landed in KL quite sometime ago but I never really took the time to try until recently.
We ordered their signature soy based chicken rice and noodles... The rice was fragrant with a soft texture while the chicken smooth and well cooked with the juice intact. However the noodles was a let down, not so tangy. The chilli was a bit sourish but manageable and not too spicy
The restaurant is clean, well spaced out and bright. Air cond was OK and not too stuffy.
Overall the cost for our 2 orders came to RM 19.00, indeed very affordable considering it's a Michelin star meal!!!! In comparison to the Singapore outlet....the taste is not as good as the Singapore restaurant...
Would I go again...??? yes for a different taste of Chicken rice comparing to the usual boiled white chicken or fried chicken.
